Cathy Sue (Schweer) Ouellette, 66, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Sherman and Iris  Schweer.

She was raised in Valley Center, Kansas and 1976 graduate of Valley Center High School, and was a resident of Wichita, Kansas. She met her husband, Michael in Wichita, and they spent time traveling for work, then settled in Wichita to start their family. Cathy loved her family dearly, and was so proud of her children and grandchildren. She was a fighter and cancer survivor. Cathy worked at the Wichita Clinic for 20 years, creating relationships and serving others.

This was the heart of who Cathy was. She didn't meet a stranger, and she would offer a friendly hand to anyone in need.

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents Sherman and Iris Schweer, her husband Michael Ouellette, and her sister Debra Pollock.

She is survived by her son Adrien Ouellette (Kara), her daughter Whitney Ouellette, her sister Becky Costner (Mike) and her grandchildren Leiland, Ellie, and Ollie, brother-in-law Jerry Pollock, nephews, niece, other family and friends.

Graveside Service will be held 2:30 pm Friday, December 6, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 13530 W. 109th St N. and N. 119th St W., Bentley, KS.
