Obituary

Carolyn J. Mollohan, 89, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in Sedgwick, Kansas.

Carolyn was born on May 13, 1937, to Eldon and Doris Reynolds. On September 27, 1956, she married the love of her life, Myron Mollohan. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around love, family, and cherished memories.

Carolyn devoted many years to being a homemaker and raising her family. When her children reached high school, she began working in the escrow department at First National Bank in Wichita, Kansas, where she dedicated 13 years before retiring.

Carolyn had a remarkable talent for creating beautiful things with her hands. She enjoyed sewing, needlework, crafting, and quilting, sharing her creativity and talents with those she loved. Whether making something special for someone or working on a project of her own, she found great joy in the simple things.

Above all else, Carolyn treasured her family. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren brought immeasurable happiness to her life. Her grandchildren held an especially dear place in her heart, and she cherished every opportunity to spend time with those she loved. The love she poured into her family and the memories she created will remain a lasting part of her legacy for generations to come.

Carolyn’s faith was a source of comfort and strength throughout her life. While her passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, her family finds peace in knowing she is now resting in the arms of Jesus and joyfully reunited with her beloved Myron. Though she will be deeply missed here on earth, the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind will live on through the generations of family she cherished so dearly.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Doris Reynolds; her beloved husband, Myron Mollohan; her brothers, Don Reynolds, Raymond Reynolds, Gary Reynolds, and Kevin Reynolds; her sisters, Sharon Copeland and Sharman Calhoun; and her son-in-law, Rocky Littlejohn.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Karen) Mollohan and Mark (Suzanne) Mollohan; her daughters, Cindy Littlejohn and Kelly Mollohan; her brother, Phil (Jacqueline) Reynolds; her sister, Kim; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
