Carolyn Kay (Wilson) Mason , 79, passed away on Sunday August 23, 2020.  She was born July 10, 1941 to Ruth (Kallenbach) and Joe Wilson of Valley Center. She was a 1959 graduate from Valley Center High School. She attended St. Francis School of Nursing and became a nurse anesthetist after graduation. She did eye anesthesia at the Cataract Surgery Center for 25 years.

Carolyn's survivors include her children Price (Andie) Mason of Haysville, Jodi Mason of De Soto and Chad Mason of Overland Park; brothers Lloyd (Judy) Wilson of Valley Center and Joe Wilson of Mulvane; sisters Nancy Anderson and Judy (Jerry) Gariepy of Valley Center. She is survived by grandchildren Kristine Mason, Reese (Taylor) Mason and Dakota Nicklaus and three great-grandchildren; many other family and friends.

Graveside service will be Thursday, Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita, Kansas. Memorials to Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, Ks 67219. Baker Funeral Home has charge.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
