CAROLYN S. DEFORE, passed away on October 25, 2017. She was born on November 16, 1948. She graduated from Valley Center High School in 1967, she was a Raytheon employee for 32 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and her parents, Orvill and Marjorie Werner. Carolyn in survived by her brothers, Ron (Patsy) Werner of Red Oak, TX, Robert Werner of Valley Center, 2 sons, Steve (Barb) Johnson and Chris Johnson both of Valley Center, daughter Megan Maness of Augusta, 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunnydale Park Cemetery, Valley Center (E. 101st N. and Hillside). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Center of Kansas.
