Obituary

VALLEY CENTER, KS

Calvin Garth Noah, 90, retired WSU Geology professor, Kansas Oil Operator, Farmer/Rancher, licensed Kansas Petroleum Geologist, member of Kansas Independent Oil and Gas Association, National Stripper Well Association, Kansas Geological Society and Society of Petroleum Engineers, passed away October 18, 2015 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's disease. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joan; daughter Kitt (Doug Cunningham); Valley Center, sons Mark of Ogallah; and Scott of Bel Aire; grandson Britt Cunningham; Valley Center; sister Rosemary Hillman of Hays and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents Ray and Lois Noah, brothers Darrell Noah and Raymond Noah, and sister Ruth Walz. Visitation will be Friday, October 23 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center, Kansas and a second visitation at the Red Line Church of God in rural Palco, Kansas from 12:00-2:00 pm on Saturday, October 24 with graveside service and burial following at Morlan Township Cemetery in rural Graham County. Please make memorial donations in his memory to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, Ks 67202, in lieu of flowers. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center.
