Monge, Clara 'Kay' (Purkey) , 67, former Thayer Aerospace Supervisor, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Donald Vern Purkey and Mary Jane (Clinton) Purkey. She was a graduate of Valley Center High School, Valley Center, Kansas. She is survived by her husband Jose Monge; daughter Dana (Arif) Mustafa and step daughter Jessica Monge; grandchildren Erika Guereque – Mustafa, Maryum Mustafa, Mareenah Mustafa and Ruyyan Mustafa; brother Donald 'Bud' Purkey of Valley Center; sister Mary Urbin of Valley Center; aunt Juanita Purkey of Valley Center; nieces and nephews, Linda (Jeff) St Clair, Charlie (Kim) Thompson, Doni (Greg) Arbuckle, Lora (Joey) King, Kelly Urbin and NicK Urbin; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Don and Mary Purkey; brother-in-law Robert Urbin and sister-in-law Marjorie Purkey.
