CRISTEL  'ERLEE'  (HIGGINS)  VAGUE , 87, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. She was born in Wewoka, Seminole County, Oklahoma to Rex Harold Higgins and Dorothy Ester (White) Higgins. The family moved to the Hutchinson, Kansas area where she was a graduate of Hutchinson High School. On July 30, 1948, she married the love of her life Fred R. Vague. They lived in the north Wichita area for 43 years where they enjoyed raising their two sons. She worked as a Claims Department Administrative Office Manager for Home Insurance. Her vibrant personality and love for life reflected greatly in her love for her family. She is survived by her husband of 69 yrs, Fred Vague; sons Rex Vague (Georgianna Dirga) and Ron Vague (Brenda); grandchildren Briana Vague, Alex Vague (Tam), Alana Vague, Aaron Vague (Jessica Allen); great grandchildren Destiny and Luna. She was preceded in death by her parents Rex Harold Higgins, Dorothy Ester (White) Self and Bert Self. Erlee will be missed by all who loved her and knew her. Private Family Service will be held.
