Obituary

WICHITA, KS

Legan, Burney Willard, 84, retired Graves Truckline driver, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015. He was born in Clearwater, Kansas, where he resided until the 1940s. His family then moved to Wichita, Kansas until 1970s and moved to the Valley Center, Kansas area. Burney entered into the U.S. Army on February 1, 1952 and was a Korean War Veteran. He worked at Mid Central Fish until 1965, then Graves Truckline as a truck driver and dock worker till he retired in 1988. Burney then worked for Grattan Farms. He is survived by friends Bill and Judy Grattan, and Milton Quiring; other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother and step dad, Marie Z. (Roberts) Martin and Don N. Martin; his brother Wesley Dean Roberts; grandparents William J. and Mary J. Roberts. Private Services will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
