Bryan G.
Reimer
April 16, 2021
Bryan Glenn Reimer, 66, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 16, 2021. Bryan was born on April 28, 1954 in Liberal, Kansas to Cornelius and Delores (Wiens) Reimer. He was preceded in death by his parents Cornelius and Delores (Wiens) Reimer. Bryan is survived by his wife Patricia Reimer, of the home; daughters Erin (Kevin) Nelson of Wichita, Kansas and Megan (Trevor) Richard of Hays, Kansas; grandchildren Joshua Nelson, Paige Nelson, Olivia Richard and Evelyn Richard; brothers Merwin (Vickie) Reimer of Hooker, Oklahoma and LaVern (Janet) Reimer of Salina, Kansas; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Bryan attended grade school in Adams, Oklahoma and graduated from Hooker High School in 1972. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Tabor College in 1974. There he met his future spouse Patricia Graber and they were married on September 11, 1976. They celebrated 44 years together.
The majority of Bryan's working career was spent as the grain merchandiser and accountant at Andale Farmers Co-Op. He retired in 2003 after 25 years of employment.
In his free time Bryan loved to fish, follow sports and was an avid OU fan. He loved fishing with Erin and Megan at Grandpa Graber's pond and enjoyed numerous fishing trips with his dad, brothers, and brothers-in-law. His love for sports started in high school and carried throughout his life. Every spring he took great pleasure in attending the NJCAA men's basketball tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. Bryan was an avid Oklahoma Sooners fan and despite living in a household full of Kansas Jayhawk fans, he never wavered from his loyalty to OU.
As Bryan got older and his mobility declined his relationship with the Lord became his main source of strength. Every morning, he started his day with a cup of coffee, devotional, and scripture memorization. Bryan found great comfort in scripture and at the time of his passing he had committed 116 verses to memory.
