VALLEY CENTER, KS
Bishop, Brad Alan, 51, Valley Center High School 1978 graduate, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012. Brad recently left a long career as Master Electrician and part owner of an Electrical Contracting firm to pursue Real Estate Investments. He was a loving husband and father who lived life to the fullest. Truly a man of many talents, he was known as "Mr. Fix-it". Throughout his life he raced cars, motorcycles and trucks, but he was most proud of being a pilot and member of the QBs. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Bishop; children, Lacey Bishop, Luke Bishop, Lawson Hightower, all of Valley Center, and Reagan Hightower of Oklahoma City; mother, Theresa Bishop of Wichita; father, Ray Simpson of Wichita; sister, Jan Bishop of Wichita; brothers, Joe Bishop, Mike Simpson and Mark Simpson, all of Wichita. He is preceded in death by his dad, Frank Bishop. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Friday, May 4, at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Services 10 a.m., Saturday, May 5, will be held at Northside Church of Christ, 4545 N. Meridian, Wichita. Burial will follow the service at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita.
