Bobbie  "Bob" Jean Hamilton, 88 yrs, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022.  He was born in Pittsburg, Kansas to Marie B. Hamilton on March 13, 1934.  After school, Bob joined the United States Marine Corps where he served from April 17, 1952 to April 16, 1955.  He met and married the love of his life  Mary Elizabeth Davis on July 7, 1962.  To this union were 6 children.  He was a machinist by trade retiring from Beech Aircraft, yet loved to go fishing and to auctions.  Yet the greatest love was spending time with his family (especially his grandkids).

Bob was preceded in death by his mom Marie Hamilton, his wife Mary E. Hamilton and his daughter Patricia L. Hamilton.

He is survived by his children: Josephine Hamilton, Robert Hamilton, William Hamilton, Melissa LaRouche (Leo), and James Hamilton; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; many other family and friends.

Visitation 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, December 6 at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center, Kansas.

Graveside Service 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 7 at Maize Park Cemetery, 12733 W. 53rd St. N., Maize, Kansas with Pastor Kurtis Haynes officiating.
