Billy Eugene Swingle, 72, retired Boeing Purchasing Manager, passed away, Friday, June 20, 2014. He was born in Kingman, Kansas to Maurice Alden Swingle and Eva LaVonne (Simoson) Swingle. He was a graduate of Wichita State University. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Billy is survived by his wife Linda Swingle; sons, Bryce Swingle and Kyle (Allison) Swingle; grandchildren Emily, Chase and Hunter; sisters Helen Ryan and Phyllis Arb. He is preceded by his parents Alden and LaVonne Swingle, brother Maurice Swingle, sisters Margaret Moore and Sharon Swingle. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Monday, June 23 at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Services 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 24 at Resthaven Cemetery (Rose Garden), 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita. In lieu of flowers, memorials to charity of your choice or Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, Ks 67218. Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center.
