BEVERLEY JOYCE (WRIGHT) WHITE
, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016. She was born December 8th, 1935 to Ira & Grace Wright. At the age of 2 months Beverley went to live with her grandparents Sam & Adah Worthington who became Mom & Dad and provided a loving and wonderful home. She attended Riverview elementary and Valley Center High School. In 1954, Beverley accepted her first position as Policy Loan Clerk at Farmers & Bankers Life Insurance in Wichita, Ks. She met, fell in love, and married Gene White in 1956; celebrating 60 years this past June. In 1970, a girl they had always hoped to have, Genea White was born. Their grandson Cody arrived to brighten their life in 1996. Along with spending time with her grandson, family, & friends everyone knew she was an avid Denver Bronco fan! Survivors include her husband Gene; daughter Genea (Mark) Voges; grandson Cody Voges; sister Judy Melton; brother Gary Wright; sister-in-laws, Judy (Lloyd) Wilson, Sue (Gary) Johnson, and brother-in-law Randall White and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by brother Bob Wright. Beverley was blessed to have many lifelong friends.

5-7 p.m., Wednesday, September 21; and
Service
10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 22, both will be held at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Graveside following the service Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
