Betty Jo (Sweeny) Weeks, 67, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. She was born in Newton, Kansas to Harold Raymond Sweeny and Karaleen Marguirite (Winter) Sweeny. She was a 1964 graduate of Valley Center High School.  Betty is survived by her daughters Joyce (Clifford) Vanderzanden of Marion and Vickey Tuttle (Daniel Reid) of Haysville; grandchildren Joshua Tuttle, Kevin Tuttle, Joseph Tuttle, Nathan Tuttle, Angelina Vanderzanden, Jesse (Becky) Lazzers, Bryant Brunner, Kimberly Vanderzanden and Lydia Vanderzanden; nieces, nephews, many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Buddy Sweeny, Dennis Sweeny and John Edwin Sweeny. Memorials may be designated to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, Ks 67219 or American Diabetes Association, 8533 E. 32 ^nd N., Wichita, Ks 67226. Visitation 1:00 p.m. and Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 15 at Baker Funeral, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center.
