Betty Jo Baker 82, of Wichita, KS went home to be with the Lord May 8, 2020.  She was born on October 10, 1937 to the late James E. and Jewell V. (Scraper) Faught.  She Married Bill M. Baker on September 3, 1955 and he precedes her.  She is also preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Rachel Faught, Nancy Hienrich, Donna Faught and brother John Daniel Faught.  Betty is survived by her brother Jerry Faught, sister Ruth Faught, sons Michael M. Baker (Pamela),  Ricky D. Baker (Jodie),  Joseph D. Baker (Allison), and  daughters Debra L. Baker and Diana G. Baker;  11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She played sports in high school and later at church.  She was very competitive.  Betty loved her family and enjoyed attending her children's, grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's sports games and was a vocal cheerleader and critic of the officials at times.  She was a hard worker and loved her church and was very involved. She is a former Raytheon aircraft and Tweco Products employee.

Most of all she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Memorials may be designated in her memory to Believer's Southern Baptist Church, 13909 W. 21 ^st St. N., Wichita, Kansas 67235.
