BESSIE FAYE (HUDSON) ROBERTS, 79 years old, passed away on November 11, 2015 in Wichita, Kansas. She was born in Manford, Oklahoma to Henry and Ada (Caswell) Hudson. The family moved in 1941 to the Bentley, Kansas area where she was raised. On August 9, 1953, in Bentley, Kansas, she married the love of her life Ernest Eugene Roberts. She was a graduate of Bentley High School, and she went on to receive her Nursing Degree. She was an RN for some time at New Horizons in Valley Center and also worked for Dr. Dwight Wheeler in Newton, Kansas. Bessie also worked with her husband at their 'Robert's TV business. She served on the Valley Center City Council and many other areas in the community. She also was a lifetime member at Pleasant Valley Church, Bentley, Kansas. Bessie loved serving others, but most of all loved her family. She is survived by her sons Wayne (Laura) Roberts of Valley Center, Dale Roberts of Valley Center and Jim (Susan) Roberts of Bentley; grandchildren Andrew (Tamara) Roberts, Christina Roberts, Tami Roberts, James (Dawn) Roberts and Victoria Roberts; great grandchildren Evan, Brayden, Dylan, Dominick, Vincent, Naydia, Jaxan, Brayden, MacKenzie, Karson and LaChelle; sister Maxine Moore of Bentley; brothers Albert Hudson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Carl Hudson of Webb City, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her husband Gene Roberts in May, 2015, her parents Henry and Ada Hudson, sister Agnes Hudson, Brother Bobby Hudson, grandson Dustan Roberts and granddaughter Emily Roberts.

Visitation 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, November 17 at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 18, at the Pleasant Valley Church, 12002 W. 109th N., Sedgwick (Bentley), Kansas with graveside following at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
