BENJAMIN EARL SCOFIELD, 'BEN', 58, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Leland Max Scofield and Lillian Louise (Bennett) Scofield. He worked as an aircraft machinist for Triumph (formerly IFR – Excel) for 35 years. Ben loved camping, fishing and hunting which all of his family did. But his ultimate love and enjoyment was being a dad and grandpa. He is survived by his children Alex Scofield, Wyatt Scofield, Amy Nichols, Lorraina Graybill, Andrea Lundholm and Jeromy Scofield; grandchildren Jazabelle, Paighton, Summer, Molliemay, Bentley, Essie, Tayla, Brianna, Reed and Stella; sisters Bonnie Brown, Lela Gadbury, Beverly Jennings, Linda Scofield, Georgieann Logan, Earlena Shannon and Wanita Ellis; brother in law Todd and Monique Callison; mother of Alex, Wyatt and Lorraina – Patty Scofield; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Ben is preceded in death by his son Christopher Scofield, parents Leland and Lillian Scofield, brothers Leland Scofield Jr and George L. Brown, sisters Freda Darlene Baliff and Essie Mae Thompson. Services will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 10, at Oatville Community Church, 3814 S. Hoover, Wichita, Kansas. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center has charge.
