Barry Eugene Brannan, of Newton, Kansas, departed this life on Friday, January 3, 2020 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born July 13, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas the son of Robert Dale "Bob" Brannan and Maggie Beatrice "Bea" (Baker) Brannan. He married Martha Jo Robinson on August 7, 1981 in Clay Center, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents Floyd Dale and Jessie Christina (Minnich) Brannan, maternal grandparents Robert Cecil and Flossie Jane (Gabbard) Baker, brother Tony Wayne Brannan, two nephews Darrin Lee Wills and Nathan Wayne Halstead.

He is survived by his wife, three children Jeremy Christopher Brannan, Amanda Sue Hein, and Jessica Christine Simon, five grandchildren, and one great-grandson, six siblings: Virginia Kathaleen "Kathy" Wills and her husband Phillip, Bobby Odene Brannan and his wife Gaynell, Terry Lynn Brannan, Victor Kelvin Brannan and his wife Debbie, Karla Michelle Knott and her husband David, and Karen Lynell Rush. He will, also, be missed by many nieces and nephews along with their families.
