BARBARA  COLLEEN  (WAGGONER)  KIRK went to be with Jesus on Monday May 30, 2016 at her home in Salina, Kansas with her children and family at her side. Barbara was born July 25, 1951 at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Aurora, Colorado to the late Leslie Robert Waggoner and Barbara Jeanne (Carroll) Waggoner. She was preceeded in death by her parents; brothers: Leslie Robert Waggoner II and Michael Durwood Waggoner; a sister: Dorothee Jeannette (Waggoner) Avis; son: Shane Paul Stowell; and her best friend and sister-in-heart: Anita Johnson. She is survived by her children: Frank (Pete) Kirk, Bryce Kirk and Lindsay Kirk; grandchildren: Jared Kenley, Gerrett Waggoner, Ira Archambault, Taylor White, Dusty Roberts, Kaitlynn Roll, Trenten Baltazor and Kamille Kirk; great grandson: Micah Waggoner and a baby due in December. Siblings: Margaret (Marti) Greeson, Mary (Harry) Linthicum, Kenneth Waggoner, John (Miriam) Waggoner, and Byron (Maureen) Waggoner. Twenty one nieces and nephews, 26 great-nieces and nephews, and 30 great-great nieces and nephews. Also, Anita Johnson's daughters: Nicki Peet, Jerri Larson, Cari Keim and Tracy Johnson and lifelong friends: Sue Cobb, Julie Cobb and Lyn Endsley. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs: Kayne and Peyton. Barbara was a lifelong fan and supporter of the Denver Broncos. Memorial Service to be held at Revolution Church, 1111 W. South Street Salina, Ks on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be sent to First Bank Kansas Barbara Waggoner Kirk Memorial Fund. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center has charge.
