Barbara "Bobbie" Isham , 68, died on Monday, November 7, 2016, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado. She was born December 5, 1947 in Condord, NH, the daughter of Erwin W. Perkins and Mable A. (Campbell) Perkins. She was raised in Wichita, graduating from high school in 1965. She later attended Wichita State University. Bobbie was a Para Professional with USD 259 for over 30 years. In 1964, she was united in marriage to Ralph L. Cox, in Wichita, KS. This marriage later ended in divorce. On October 23, 1987, she was united in marriage to Jerry L. Isham in Wichita, KS. Bobbie is survived by one son, Randy Cox and his wife, Patty of Severy; daughter, Linda Fletcher and her husband, Darren of Haysville; 2 sisters, Darlene Potter and husband, Eddie of Leon, Angela Marler of Wichita; brother, Sonny Perkins of Wichita; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Robert Septer; husband, Jerry L. Isham; daughter, Lori Ross; sisters, Sherry Mohn and Annetta Day. She will lay in state from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, at Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 11, at South Lawn Cemetery in Severy. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the American Heart Association Sunflower Chapter, 8630 E. 32nd Crt N., Wichita, Kansas 67226.
