Barbara Joan (Mason) Blocher, 78, passed away, Thursday, August 21, 2014. She was born in Grenola, Kansas to Jean D. Mason and Stella LaVerne (Douglas) Mason. She was a graduate of Grenola High School. After graduation Barbara went on to cosmetology school which she completed. She lived in the Park City area for many years where she had many friends and extended family. She never met a stranger, she enjoyed talking to people, loved music and liked dances. She was very proud of her daughter and granddaughter. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husbands Merle Berry and Norman Blocher. Barbara is survived by her daughter Andrea (John) Boyd of Land O'Lakes, FL; granddaughter Gabrielle; sister Betty Pulliam; brothers Bill (Frances) Mason and James (Cynthia) Mason. Visitation Service 5-7 p.m., Thursday, August 28 at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center; Graveside 11 a.m., Friday, August 29 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Grenola, Kansas.
