AVONELL (LOFLIN) SCHWEDA
92, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018. She was born in Fredonia, Kansas to W. R. 'Bill' Loflin and Ruth Eileen (Delaney) Loflin. She was a graduate of Fredonia High School. At Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Fredonia, Kansas she married the love of her life Leo Francis Schweda. She enjoyed being a homemaker raising and caring for her children, Brenda, Mike and Marli. In Fredonia she worked at Self Service Grocery, was a School Cook, volunteered at the Senior Center, did Meals-on-Wheels while she loved serving others. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and loved sunshine. Her greatest love was her family and being with them. She is survived by her children, Brenda (Roger) Naylor of Wichita, Mike (Glenda) Schweda of Fredonia and Marli Bauer of Wichita; grandchildren, Chad, Shane (Lisa), Ashley, Melody (Tyler), Josh, Jordan, DeeAnna (Tom) and Kevin; great grandchildren, Colton, Molly, Turner, Brayden, Kaytie and Chloe; great great grandchild Alex; brother Jim (Lois) Loflin of Halstead. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, siblings Dimalea Milner, Cathy Lewis, Dean Loflin and Max Loflin.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 428 N. 12th, Fredonia, Kansas. Graveside will be held at the Fredonia City Cemetery, Fredonia, Kansas. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
