WICHITA,   KANSAS

AVA  LOUISE  (NALLY)  ARNETT , 83, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019 in Haysville, Kansas. She was born in Caney, Kansas to Otis Hector Nally and Pauline (Stewart) O'Shields Nally. Beloved mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She lived a full life, even having her own race car at 81 Speedway while helping dad raise 7 kids. Life was never dull, which she had a way of making sure it wasn't.

Ava is survived by children, Melvin Runyan, Jr., Betty Soliz, Cindy Hammon, Jimmy (Carla) Runyan, Debra (Kevin) Shelton; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother John F. O'Shields; sisters Nancy Baker and Angela Plooster; many other family and friends.  She is preceded by her sons Johnny Franklin Runyan Sr. and Jerry Wayne Runyan, grandchildren Jamie Runyan, Amber Walters, Derrick Runyan and Michael Wolfe, her parents, her brothers Jim O'Shields, Donald O'Shields and sister Kay Foulk.

Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 30 at Grace Chapel, 1302 W. Harry, Wichita, Kansas. Graveside following at the Valley Center Memorial Cemetery, Valley Center, Kansas. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com .
