Obituary

Arnold Marion Thiebaud Jr., on Friday, February 19, 2021, our loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly with his dear wife at his side. Arnold Jr. married the love of his life, Doris Louise Moon Thiebaud, in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Arnold had a wonderful life that included serving in the Air Force, working on rocket engines during the space race, and working for Boeing Computer Services. He loved serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many different callings, and he especially loved serving for 12 years as a volunteer in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Temple.

He had an incredible memory, keen mind, and was a prolific writer (leaving a great legacy of books and writings for his family). He had a great love of French family history and a willingness to serve others. He was a giant of a man, humble, soft-spoken, and a man of God.

Arnold Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Sr. & Velma, sister, Beverly Lawrence Young, and brother, Richard Thiebaud.

He is survived by his wife and three children, Arnold III (Mindi), Robert (Summer), Audrey (Clint Checketts), and grandchildren, Reese & Anniston Thiebaud, and Daniel, Ezra, Clark, Jaina, Lincoln, and Claire Checketts.

Services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021.  Hullinger Mortuary will be handling his services in Utah with livestream available.  www.hullingermortuary.com
