December 24, 1934 – July 1, 2025
Arnold O. Stoner, of Valley Center, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, July 1 2025 in Wichita Kansas. He was born in Wichita, Kansas and grew up in Arkansas. Upon moving back to Kansas he attended school in Clearwater Kansas. He met the love of his life at a Valley Center track meet where he was competing. He was drafted in the army where he became a paratrooper. He and his bride were stationed in Germany for a time before coming back to the U.S. to start a family. They eventually settled in Valley Center Kansas and raised 4 children. He started working for Jackson Brothers Body Shop right out of high school, then worked several other places doing body work before he eventually started Stoner's Body Shop in Valley Center. HIs life passions were racing, bowling, coaching baseball, coaching and playing softball.
Visitation will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 550 N. Park, Valley Center on Thursday July 10th from 5 pm to 7 pm. Services are scheduled for 11 am on Monday July 14th also at the First United Methodist Church in Valley Center.
