Dunn, Arlene Lucille (Davison), 92, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, August 12, 2012. . She was born in Greensburg, Kansas to Samuel and Ethel Davison. On August 10 she celebrated with her husband their 72nd wedding anniversary. Arlene is survived by her husband, Gail W. Dunn of Newton; her children, Beverly (Darrell) Davis of Valley Center, Karen Crego of Valley Center, Carol (Richard) LaFalier of Oklahoma City, Richard Dunn of Valley Center, Bradley (Cindy) Dunn of Park City; 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She also gave birth to twins Larry and Barbara that passed shortly after birth. Arlene loved keeping track of all her grandchildren along with taking pictures and collecting many memories over the years of her family. She and Gail spent much of their time with their extended family, American Legion activities, and traveling the United States. She worked as an assistant to the City Clerk at the City of Valley Center in her younger years and was also well known in the community for her work over 15 years at Valley Drug. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Thursday, August 16, and Services 2:30 p.m., Friday, August 17, both will be held at Valley Center First United Methodist Church, 560 N. Park, Valley Center.
