Obituary

WICHITA,   KANSAS

ANNA  LOUISE  (NICHOLS)  BRISTER , 80, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. She was born in Wellington, Kansas to Walter Kirtley Nichols and Mary Lucille (Davis) Nichols. Anna was a very hard worker providing for her family. She worked at H & S, Inc. and also did Home Health Care Independent Living. She also loved crocheting, making clothes for her children, playing canasta, fishing, original country music and being a prankster. Her greatest love and joy was being with her family, especially her grandkids.

Anna is survived by her children Floyd Brister (Jannette), Barbara Wheeler, Jo Ann Brister-Ramsey (Les Kraus) and Dave Brister; 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; brother Lee Nichols and wife Lori of Bentley; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded by her parents Walter and Mary Nichols, brothers John Haskin, Jasper Haskin, Walter Haskin and sister Mary Nichols.

Visitation 5-7 p.m., Monday, January 21, at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Graveside Service 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 22 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Goddard. Memorials may be designated in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital and Research. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com .
