WICHITA

Alwina E. (Benkula) White, 92, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 13, 2014. She was born in Newton, Kansas to Fred Benkula and Marie (Epp) Benkula. She loved her family and home. She is survived by her children, John Goertz of Kansas City, Delbert (Marilyn) Goertz of Wichita, Donald (Sheri) Goertz of Newton and Betty Ilene Cozad of Austin, TX; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; sister Ruth (Oliver) Rusher of Wichita; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Marie Benkula, and brother Clarence Benkula. Services 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 20 at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center.
