ALVIN EUGENE FOWLER , 65, left us for his eternal home on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. He lived in Bentley all his life and had a small engine shop just out of town. He spent his life trying to help others. Most everyone that knew him would say he was a very generous person. He loved working on mowers and small engines. His challenge was to make it start on the first pull. Money was not a big thing to him helping others was. He always said 'It don't take much for me to live, so if I can help someone that needs it, my pay will come someday' (and it has). Alvin is preceded in death by his father Walter Sr, mother Maxine, sister Sharon and brother Robert. He is survived by 3 brothers Walter Jr of Bentley, Ronald of Maize, Damon of Newton and 3 sisters Coleen of Wichita, Donna of Bentley and Tawnya of Bentley. A Memorial of Life Service 10 am to 12 pm, Saturday, December 23 at the Bentley Senior Center, Bentley, Kansas. All is welcome.
