Alice Larene (Vantuyl) McNolty, 73, retired K.G.E. customer service employee, passed away, Thursday, July 3, 2014. She was born in Emporia, Kansas to Harold Vantuyl and Irene (Stamback) Vantuyl, who preceded her in death. Alice was a graduate of Emporia High School. She then went on to attend Emporia State University and Wichita State University. In 1978 she married the love of her life Jerry D. McNolty, Sr.. They lived in Newton, Kansas until retirement, then moved to Branson, Missouri until five years ago when they moved to Olathe to be with their daughter. She is survived by her husband Jerry McNolty, Sr.; children Jennifer (Charlie) Womack of Olathe, Arden (Susan) Dean of Topeka, Van (Jenny) Dean of Hutchinson and Andrew (Connie) Dean of Arkansas; grandchildren, James Dean, Natasha Quinn, Brandon Dean, Rebecca Farish, Ravyn White, Vanessa Dean, Jewel Dean, Eve Dean, Noel Dean, Ariel Dean, Ethan Womack, Brady Womack and Ella Womack; 6 great grandchildren; brothers Charles McNolty of Newton and Lee Ray Hiebert of Newton; sisters Charolette Wiebe of Newton, Bonnie Siemens of Valley Center and Peggy Williams of Kechi; many other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, love gifts may be designated to the family. Visitation 9-10 a.m., Service 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 10 at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Burial following the service at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
