Guerrero, Alexander James, 41, Kristek's Painting contractor, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013. He was born in Charleston, South Carolina. He completed High School and attended college for a few years in Wichita. Alex was a contractor and did home improvement construction. He loved his work and family. He is survived by his son Skyler Guerrero of Wichita; parents Terry (Mike) Powers of Wichita, Manuel (Kimberly) Guerrero of Florida and Stan Peebler of Wichita; sisters Alicia Mefford of Wichita, Tara Powers of Wichita and Francesca Guerrero of Korea; brother Ryan Peebler of Wichita; great aunt Barbara Lacy of Cheney; many other family and friends. Private Family Services will be held. Memorials may be designated to the Alexander J. Guerrero Memorial Fund for his son Skyler. Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center has charge.
